Luke Littler cut the gap on table topper Jonny Clayton by beating The Ferret in last week's Liverpool final and is 13/10 to secure another outright victory here.
That pair have already qualified for the play-offs, but there is still plenty to play for in behind them and here are our quarter-final predictions for Thursday's action at P&J Live :

Littler will have his sights set on reeling in Clayton over the remaining four nights, so we aren't expecting him to rest on his laurels after a fourth triumph last time out.
The Nuke has not been fast out of the blocks in terms of his overall form in the quarter-finals of late, failing to post a three-figure average on four consecutive occasions. The pressure is off basement dweller Rock , who has lost all seven meetings with Littler but can take heart from their last two encounters, only going down 6-4 on Night 5 in this competition and 11-9 in the UK Open semis.

STEPHEN BUNTING TO BEAT GERWYN PRICE @ 7/4
Price remains well placed to make the play-offs in third but has fallen a long way behind the top two following a run of three straight quarter-final defeats.
Bunting has to bounce back from a couple of early exits himself, but pushed Clayton all the way in Liverpool before being edged out 6-5. The Bullet was under the spotlight at his home venue and struggled on the checkouts, landing just five of 17 attempts, but his overall scoring was solid, and this is a value pick if he can sharpen up on the doubles.

We're taking a simple approach of not overthinking this selection, as Clayton is simply a clear form choice on all recent evidence.
The Ferret only just edged out Van Veen 6-5 in last week's semis, but the fact is that he has reached three straight finals in Brighton , Rotterdam and Liverpool , only losing out to Littler in that time. It could be argued that fifth-placed Van Veen will be the hungrier player here, but The Giant hasn't done enough of late to persuade us he is worth backing to end a run of three straight Premier League losses to Clayton .

LUKE HUMPHRIES VS MICHAEL VAN GERWEN OVER 5.5 180S @ 3/4
Van Gerwen has played his way into a top-four spot over the past few weeks and was on fire in terms of hitting 180s in Liverpool . Mighty Mike fired in an incredible 14 maximums during a 6-3 win over Rock and a 6-5 loss to Littler , during which he averaged 107.54.
Humphries has work to do to move up from sixth, but has looked to be running into a bit of form as well and has easily the highest number of 180s from those in the bottom half of the table this term, so let's hope that treble 20 takes a pounding here.
