Michael van Gerwen will hope a return to home soil can spark a change in fortune as we head to Rotterdam for Night 11 of the Premier League Darts.

The Dutchman has finished runner-up in two of the last three nights, losing 6-4 to Luke Littler in Berlin before suffering an agonising 6-5 defeat to Jonny Clayton last time out in Brighton.

That has left the seven-time champion fourth in the standings and without a win since the opening night in Newcastle.

Who will win Night 11 in Rotterdam? – PL Darts 2026

Van Gerwen faces a tough start at Ahoy Arena though, coming face-to-face with Brighton conqueror Clayton. The Welsh number one reclaimed top spot in the standings after picking up his third nightly win of the season in Brighton, moving three points clear of world number one Littler, while Gerwyn Price is a further two points back.

Here is the quarter-final line-up in Rotterdam, with our betting tips for each match.

Venue Insights

Venue Insights: Rotterdam Ahoy

Rotterdam Ahoy has been a fixture on the Premier League Darts roadshow since 2016, when it became the first venue outside the UK and Ireland to host the competition. The Ahoy Arena holds up to 16,426 spectators and generates an atmosphere that consistently ranks among the most intense on the tour, particularly when Dutch players are in action.

The 2025 Night 11 in Rotterdam saw Chris Dobey produce three consecutive ton-plus averages to claim his first nightly win of that season, defeating Stephen Bunting 6-2 in the final. The Dutch crowd has a history of generating exceptional backing for home favourites, and that same energy now surrounds both Michael van Gerwen and debutant Gian van Veen.

Premier League Darts Night 11 Tips – Rotterdam

Jonny Clayton leads the Premier League standings heading into Rotterdam on 24 points, three points clear of Luke Littler in second, with Gerwyn Price a further two points back in third.

Michael van Gerwen sits fourth despite reaching two consecutive finals, still without a nightly win since Newcastle and increasingly desperate to end that drought in front of his home crowd. The top four has genuine shape to it, but the second half of the league stage leaves no room for error.

Below the cut, the picture is equally tight. Luke Humphries arrives in seventh, five points off the play-off positions and without a quarter-final win in his last three outings. Josh Rock is five points adrift at the foot of the table and the only player yet to reach a final this season.

Both will know that nothing short of a strong night in the Netherlands will do if they are to keep their top-four hopes alive.

Luke Littler vs Gerwyn Price

Luke Littler v Gerwyn Price Tips

Littler will be seeking to get his Premier League bid back on track after falling at the first hurdle in his last two outings. Prior to that the world number one and reigning world champion had won three out of four nights, taking the honours in Cardiff, Dublin and Berlin, and we don't think the 19-year-old - whose 69 180s this season are 13 more than nearest challenger Clayton - will be off his game for long.

Price, winner in Manchester and Antwerp, is only two points behind Littler in the standings and will be looking to leapfrog the Nuke this week.

Prediction: Luke Littler most 180s and to beat Gerwyn Price @ 5/4

Gian van Veen vs Luke Humphries

Gian van Veen v Luke Humphries Tips

Like Van Gerwen, 23-year-old Dutchman Van Veen is back on familiar territory and the World Championship runner-up will hope this isn't the week where Humphries finally rediscovers his mojo. Despite averaging over 100 - second only to Littler ( 100.86 ) - the world number two is struggling down in seventh spot, five points off the play-off places, with his best night so far being a solitary runner-up finish in Nottingham.

Can Luke Humphries make the top four this season? – PL Darts 2026

Reigning champion Humphries has suffered quarter-final exits in his last three Premier League outings but, like Littler, it is only a matter of time before the cream rises back to the top.

Prediction: Luke Humphries to beat Gian van Veen 6-4 @ 6/1

MVG vs Jonny Clayton

Michael van Gerwen v Jonny Clayton Tips

Van Gerwen will wonder just how he managed to let the Brighton final against Clayton slip through his fingers. MvG led 5-2 in that match, averaging over 105 in the process, and twice had a pair of match darts to take the win, but 2021 Premier League champion Clayton staged a brilliant fightback to snatch a 6-5 victory.

It remains to be seen if that will give Clayton the edge this week, but Van Gerwen will be eager to impress in front of his home crowd.

Stephen Bunting vs Josh Rock

Stephen Bunting v Josh Rock Tips

Stephen Bunting will be aiming to boost his play-off hopes and add to Josh Rock 's misery when the Bullet takes in the struggling Irishman. Rocky is the only player yet to reach a final this season and his record of seven quarter-final exits in 10 nights has left him five points adrift at the foot of the table.

Bunting has only made one final himself, but the Liverpudlian made it count with victory over Van Veen in Belfast.
