Luke Humphries -1.5 Legs To Beat Jonny Clayton @ 17/20

Both of these players are looking to bounce back from two straight early exits, but it is Humphries who should be that little bit hungrier here. Cool Hand Luke can take heart from having beaten The Ferret 6-3 in Dublin last month, and he also prevailed 8-6 when they met in a European Tour event a few days later.

The fact that Humphries has the second-highest overall average at 100.54 throughout the tournament so far suggests it is just a matter of time before he starts climbing up the table.

Gerwyn Price -1.5 Legs To Beat Josh Rock @ 8/11

Rock will be mightily relieved to have put a run of seven consecutive defeats behind him with back-to-back quarter-final victories over Clayton , but this looks a daunting task. Price , who romped to a 6-0 whitewash when this pair met three weeks ago, has put plenty of focus on the Premier League this term, and that move is paying off with some high-class performances.

The Iceman was again outstanding in Manchester last week, posting averages of 104.46, 112.91 and 105.84 in securing a trio of 6-2 triumphs.

Luke Littler Most 180s & Beat Stephen Bunting @ 7/10

Littler blotted his copybook with a petulant reaction to last week’s 6-5 quarter-final loss to Van Veen , but hardly looks the type to let that incident fester. The Nuke had previously stormed to the top of the table by securing three nightly wins from four attempts, twice beating Bunting 6-3 during that hot streak.

On each occasion, Littler also finished ahead in terms of 180s thrown and leads the Bullet 69-30 in that department over the whole season.

Michael van Gerwen vs Gian van Veen Under 5.5 180s @ 4/6

Neither of these players have excelled with regard to hitting maximums this season, with Van Gerwen on 36 from 14 matches and Van Veen 32 from 16 games. The Giant only managed a combined total of five 180s from three matches when finishing as the nightly runner-up in Manchester , where MVG suffered an early exit at the hands of Bunting .

Both disappointed in a European Tour event over the weekend, and the Dutch rivalry should only enhance the prospects of this being a scrappy affair.
