Following the withdrawal of Don Cossack from the Punchestown Gold Cup, Cue Card has taken over the head of the betting at 1/2.

Don Cossack was the 5/4 favourite for the race before a tendon injury saw him ruled out. Colin Tizzard’s Cue Card is now the frontrunner having been cut into 1/2 from 7/4.

Willie Mullins’ duo Djakadam and Don Poli both feature next at 6/1 having shortened in from 12/1 and 10/1 respectively.

Gigginstown House Stud’s Road To Riches is behind stablemate Don Poli at 10/1 after being cut in from 14/1. Carlingford Lough has also shortened off the back of Don Cossack’s withdrawal and is now on offer at 14/1 from 16/1.

Remaining unchanged for the Punchestown Gold Cup are Smashing and FOXROCK, who are both available at 25/1.

A number of punters are now sitting on top of some tasty bets as Cue Card was available at 2/1 and 7/4 before the withdrawal of Don Cossack.""
