Can Cork avenge their 2024 All-Ireland Hurling Final loss to Clare? Check out what the latest Liam MacCarthy odds suggest after the conclusion of the 2024 season.
Cork Second Favourites For 2025 Hurling All-Ireland
BoyleSports makes Cork the 7/2 second favourites to win next year’s All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship after the Rebel County lost out by the narrowest of margins at Croke Park on Sunday.
The Rebels held a seven-point lead early in the first half of the titanic tussle, meaning BoyleSports’ early payout kicked in and backers of the Rebels were paid out as winners. But Clare bounced back and the match was all square at half-time, full-time and in the opening half of extra time. A sold-out Croke Park eventually saw the Banner clinch victory by one point and Brian Lohan’s side are now 5/1 shots to lift back-to-back Liam MacCarthy cups.
Limerick Favourites For 2025 All-Ireland Hurling Championship
Betting is already heating up for the 2025 campaign, with Limerick, who were unsuccessful in their drive for five this year, the current 6/4 favourites with BoyleSports. John Kiely’s side bowed out at the semi-final stage in their bid for an historic five-in-a-row but top the list of the oddsmakers as attention turns to next year.
The market is dominated by hurling heavyweights, with Kilkenny rated 9/2 to claim a first championship since 2015, having lost out in finals in 2016, 2019, 2022 and 2023, while Galway remain in contention at 8/1 despite a disappointing campaign that was brought to an end by Dublin this year.
Brian O’Keeffe, spokesperson for BoyleSports, said:
“It was a clash for the ages at Croke Park on Sunday and while the hearts of the Rebels were broken in the cruellest of fashions, plenty of punters fancy them to go one better in 2025.”
