Since then he has become synonymous with the festival for his exploits in owning horses like Istabraq, Baracouda, Synchronised and Buveur D’Air and has shown himself to be a force to be reckoned with at the meeting frequently landing gambles which has seen bookmakers out-of-pocket and running.
At the festival last year he had 4 winners and will have another strong team at this year's festival with Fact To File, Dinoblue, Jonbon, Jeriko du Reponet and Corbetts Cross among his leading fancies, it’s no surprise that he is priced at just 3/10 for most successes again next week.

The ‘double green’ colours of Simon Munir and Isaac Souede have become regular faces at Cheltenham Festival for years now with their first festival winner coming back in 2010 when the Nicky Henderson-trained Soldatino won the Triumph Hurdle. Henderson's teaming with the duo has continued to be fruitful with Henderson also training the 2012 Fred Winter winner Une Artiste and a second Triumph winner, Peace And Co, in 2015.
In recent years it’s been their teaming with Mullins that has brought them the most successes with El Fabiolo and Impaire Ed Passe winning last year in the Arkle and Baring Bingham respectively.
This year they’re again expected to bring a strong team to Cheltenham with El Fabiolo again, Jasmin de Vieux, Hunters Yarn and Readin Tommy Wrong some of their leading market players currently.
Mrs J Donnelly

Mrs J Donnelly and her husband Joe have since been regular winners at the festival with their latest success coming with Gaillard du Mesnil in last year’s National Hunt Novices’ Chase.
They’re expected to bring a strong team of horses to the festival next week, headlined by State Man who could be set to go one better than his runner-up finish in the Champion Hurdle last year especially with the recent announcement that Constitution Hill will be withdrawn from the event. Other leading contenders for them include Shishkin in the Gold Cup, Sir Gino, Dancing City and Shanagh Bob.
