The Nicky Henderson-trained four-year-old ran out a narrow winner of the 2024 German Derby before finishing six lengths adrift of Godolphin’s seven-time Group/Grade 1 scorer, Rebel’s Romance, in Cologne’s Preis von Europa last September.
Having passed through the sales ring in October, the son of Gleneagles was snapped up for €1.4million on behalf of Lady Bamford before being sent to Seven Barrows to prepare for a campaign over hurdles.

Despite the stable housing the red-hot 6/4 favourite Lulamba for the Triumph Hurdle, Palladium has been heavily backed into 12/1 from 20/1 in recent days for the race as punters anticipate an impressive debut on Thursday.
