Ryanair Chase Preview
Robbie Power : “Banbridge is a very good horse but he’s so ground dependent. The ground at Cheltenham could be a bit on the soft side for him and I like Envoi Allen – he won the race last year and had another good race at Down Royal when just beaten by Gerri Colombe. He comes here fresh and his form is always strong when he’s fresh. Conflated would be a danger dropping back in trip, but I don’t think the race is as strong as last year and Envoi Allen could take all the beating. I think he’s one of Henry de Bromhead’s best chances of a win all week.”
David Casey : “Envoi Allen is probably the one to beat. With Banbridge you’d have to worry whether he’d run or not. If Fastorslow ran in this he’d win with his mouth open and he is entered, so you never know what could happen.”
