Champion Bumper Favourite

The favourite to win the 2024 Champion Bumper is the Gordon Elliot-trained Jalon D'oudairies for Gigginstown House Stud at odds of 9/2 Those odds imply that the horse has an 18.2% chance of winning the 2024 Champion Bumper

Tip: Teehan

Champion Bumper Betting Trends

This race is a perfect example of the Irish dominance at Cheltenham with an Irish-trained horse winning 8 of the last 10 and 24 of the last 31 races.

Flying form tends to repeat itself with 12 of the last 12 winners won on their previous run before the Champion Bumper, 7/12 winners ran within the last 39 days

The main man who is in search of 100 Cheltenham winners W P Mullins is the most successful trainer in this event with 12 victories including 4 in the last decade. For 4 of those races he had 1 runner and for the other 8, the winner was not the most fancied in the market except when Facile Vega won in 2022.

Gordon Elliott has also been successful in this race training 2 of the last 7 winners.
