Villarreal vs Copenhagen
Villarreal to draw with Copenhagen @7/2
Villarreal’s Champions League race appears almost run after collecting just one point from a possible 15 so far, but they will still be targeting victory over Copenhagen. The Yellow Submarine, who have scored just twice, are down in 34th spot, but Copenhagen are only three points better off and also look highly unlikely to finish outside the elimination zone.
The Danish qualifiers beat Kairat Almaty for their first league-stage victory last time out, but still have to face Napoli and Barcelona, and may need to win every game to avoid an early exit.
Athletic Club vs PSG
Paris St Germain to beat Athletic Bilbao @6/10
Athletic Bilbao are approaching the last-chance saloon in the Champions League, and the arrival of holders Paris St Germain is not what they need. The Basques have four points from five games - even 11 points were not enough to keep Dinamo Zagreb alive last season - and a defeat to the reigning champions could spell the end for them.
PSG have no such worries, lying second with 12 points and having scored a competition-high 19 goals. They lost 1-0 to Monaco in their last away game but bounced back with a 5-0 drubbing of Rennes at the weekend.
Benfica vs Napoli
Benfica to draw with Napoli @11/5
Benfica may have beaten Ajax last time to pick up their first points of this year’s competition, but they too look destined for an early exit unless they can produce something extra special. However, with their final three games coming against Napoli, Juventus and Real Madrid, Jose Mourinho’s men look to be playing for pride more than anything else.
Serie A champions Napoli have also struggled in Europe, picking up only seven points from a favourable-looking fixture list, but they are on a five-match winning streak in all competitions, so confidence should be high.
Dortmund vs Bodo/Glimt
Borussia Dortmund to beat Bodo/Glimt and BTTS @13/10
Dortmund missed out on a top-eight finish last season by just a point, but look well-placed to avoid that fate this term, sitting sixth on 10 points. They should add another maximum haul tomorrow against a Bodo/Glimt side who have lost their last three in Europe after starting with draws against Sparta Prague and Spurs.
Bodo’s two-point return has left them 32nd and, with games against Manchester City and Atletico Madrid to come, their maiden Champions League adventure looks almost at an end.
Juventus vs Pafos
Juventus to beat Pafos with under 3.5 goals @23/20
Juventus and Pafos could hardly have more diverse European histories, but there is precious little separating the two heading into their Turin clash. Both have six points from five games, having each drawn three, and each are fighting to recover from slow starts which has left them playing catch-up.
Juve, whose first win came at Bodo/Glimt last time out, at least have a decent-looking fixture list to finish off, whereas Cypriot champions Pafos still have to go to Chelsea and look in trouble.
