Reigning champions Paris St Germain are among the teams in Champions League action on Wednesday, and we’ve gone for five selections from the night’s action, which would give a near 551/1 payout.

Barcelona vs PSG
Barcelona to draw against Paris St Germain with both teams to score @15/4
Barcelona have won seven of their eight games this season, drawing the other, and returning to the city’s Olympic Stadium as they wait for the Nou Camp to finally be finished does not seem to have caused any issues for Hansi Flick’s side.
PSG have also enjoyed a fine start, winning six of seven while keeping five clean sheets and opened their Champions League defence with a 4-0 thrashing of Atalanta.
They have won 4-1 on their last two visits to Barca, while other recent meetings between the two European powerhouses have finished 3-2, 6-1 and 4-0, with home advantage often counting for little, so we’re not anticipating a drab goalless stalemate tomorrow.
Leverkusen vs PSV
Bayer Leverkusen to beat PSV Eindhoven with both teams to score @21/10
Leverkusen have had a mixed start to the season and are already seven points behind Bayern Munich after just five rounds of the Bundesliga.
They also needed a late fightback to claim a 2-2 draw at FC Copenhagen in their Champions League opener, so they will know the importance of winning at home.
PSV have won five out of seven league games, losing one, but their chances of progressing in Europe suffered a major blow after losing 3-1 at home to Union Saint-Gilloise. With Napoli, Liverpool, Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich still to come, that was a setback PSV could have done without, and we’re expecting more disappointment for the Dutch champions tomorrow.
Borussia Dortmund vs Athletic Bilbao
Borussia Dortmund to score in both halves against Athletic Bilbao @7/4
In-form Dortmund remain unbeaten in all competitions with five wins and two draws, while they have only conceded in two of those games, although those finished 3-3 and 4-4. Karim Adeyemi has scored in all three of his appearances and is 7/1 to open the scoring tomorrow.
Athletic were joint top of La Liga after winning their opening three games, but the wheels have fallen off since then, losing four of five games and drawing the other. Their 2-0 home loss to Arsenal has left them playing catch-up in the Champions League, but it does not get any easier with a trip to 2024 finalists Dortmund.
Napoli vs Sporting
Napoli to beat Sporting Lisbon with over 2.5 goals in total @9/4
Napoli’s 2-1 defeat at 10-man AC Milan on Saturday were the first dropped points of the domestic season for the Serie A champions, but they have also been beaten in Europe, losing 2-0 at Manchester City following the early dismissal of Giovanni Di Lorenzo.
Sporting are in flying form, winning six games out of seven at the start of their own title defence while also seeing off Kairat Almaty 4-1 in Europe. However, they have been beaten in their two hardest fixtures so far - Benfica in the Portuguese Super Cup and Porto in the league - and Napoli will be another step up again.
Villareal vs Juventus
Villarreal to draw with Juventus and both teams to score @16/5
Villarreal have struggled on their travels, including losing at Tottenham in Europe, but are on an eight-game winning streak at their Estadio de la Ceramica fortress, during which they have kept five clean sheets.
Juventus remain unbeaten after six games but have not really set the world alight yet, winning their first three fixtures before drawing the next three. Their opening Champions League game was a 4-4 epic at home to Dortmund, but it would be a surprise to see something similar tomorrow.
