Barcelona vs Olympiacos
Barcelona To Win Both Halves @ 13/10
Barcelona responded to successive defeats to PSG and Sevilla before the international break with a nervy 2-1 win over Catalan neighbours Girona on Saturday.
That was secured by a stoppage-time Ronald Araujo effort, but Hansi Flick’s men will hope for a more stress-free night against Olympiacos before Sunday’s El Clasico showdown with Real Madrid.
Olympiacos are flying high in Greece but have only one point from their opening two Champions League games. They have also lost on 14 of their 16 visits to Spain, drawing the other two, while conceding 38 goals in the process.
Leverkusen vs PSG
PSG To Beat Bayer Leverkusen And BTTS @ 19/10
Bayer Leverkusen warmed up for the visit of PSG with a dramatic 4-3 win over Mainz, but successive draws in the Champions League has left them playing catch-up in Europe.
PSG have made a good start to their title defence with victories over Atalanta and Barcelona but have been held to draws in their last two Ligue 1 games, including a 3-3 thriller at home to Strasbourg on Friday night, so Luis Enrique’s talent-laden side are not quite firing on all cylinders.
FC Copenhagen vs Borussia Dortmund
FC Copenhagen To Draw With Borussia Dortmund And BTTS @ 7/2
Copenhagen are certainly battle-ready for the visit of Dortmund, having started their season in mid-July and with eight European fixtures under the belts already, but form appears to have deserted them.
They have won only two of their last eight fixtures, including suffering a 2-0 European loss at Qarabag and shock 3-1 SuperLiga defeat to Silkeborg on Friday, and will be hoping their impressive home record in the Champions League proper - two defeats in 19 games - will come to their aid.
Dortmund are also coming off the back of a painful loss, going down 2-1 to Bayern Munich in Der Klassiker, but have been the big entertainers in the Champions League with a 4-4 draw with Juventus followed by a 4-1 win over Athletic Bilbao.
PSV vs Napoli
PSV To Draw With Napoli @ 5/2
PSV Eindhoven are another side giving spectators value for money, their last 11 Champions League games producing 45 goals, and they will be desperate to make amends for their 3-1 loss to debutants Union Saint-Gilloise in their home opener.
Their hopes could be boosted by Napoli’s apparent travel blues, with the Serie A champions having lost their last three away games, including 2-0 at Manchester City and a 1-0 reverse at Torino on Saturday.
Antonio Conte was without Rasmus Hojlund and Scott McTominay at the weekend but will hope the former Manchester United team-mates are fit to return tomorrow.
Union Saint Gilloise vs Inter Milan
Inter Milan To Beat Union Saint-Gilloise 1-0, 2-0 or 2-1 @ 2/1
Union Saint-Gilloise shocked PSV on their Champions League debut at the Philips Stadion before being brought back to earth by a 4-0 home loss to Newcastle.
The Belgian champions also lost their following game to Club Brugge but otherwise have been flying high domestically and should provide a challenge to in-form Inter Milan, who are chasing a seventh successive win in all competitions.
The 2024/25 runners-up have only conceded two goals in that run and have kept 10 clean sheets in their previous 11 group/league-stage matches, so Union SG - whose last 38 European games have only resulted in two goalless draws - will know what they are up against.
