Galatasaray vs Juventus
GALATASARAY AND JUVENTUS TO DRAW @ 12/5
These teams have met six times before in the Champions League , and half of those matches have ended in stalemate, while Juventus also drew four of their eight league games this term.
Galatasaray finished three points behind the Italian giants, but their home form was solid, beating Liverpool and Bodo/Glimt in Istanbul , as well as sharing the spoils with Atletico Madrid .
Dortmund vs Atalanta
BORUSSIA DORTMUND TO BEAT ATALANTA @ EVENS
Dortmund suffered a disappointing home defeat against Inter Milan last month, but their previous efforts at Signal Iduna Park offer more encouragement, with eight goals scored in wins over Athletic Bilbao and Villarreal before a 2-2 draw against Bodo/Glimt.
Atalanta are always an enigma, as highlighted by beating Chelsea before losing to Bilbao and Union St Gilloise , but the percentage pick is Die Borussen , who have won the home fixture in six of their last eight Champions League two-legged ties.
Bodo/Glimt vs Inter
INTER MILAN TO WIN AT BODO/GLIMT @ 8/13
Bodo/Glimt performed late heroics in the league phase by beating Manchester City at home and then upsetting Atletico Madrid in Spain , but last season’s Europa League semi-finalists face a tough test on their knockout stage debut at this level.
Inter have reached two of the last three finals and have an excellent record in the opening encounter of two-legged ties, securing six wins and a draw from the last seven such fixtures. The Nerazzurri have again shown they do not suffer from travel sickness by winning away to Ajax , USG and Dortmund during the current campaign.
Club Brugge vs Atletico Madrid
ATLETICO MADRID TO WIN AT CLUB BRUGGE @ 20/23
Los Colchoneros claimed wins over Eintracht Frankfurt, USG, Inter and PSV during a solid league stage and can be forgiven for two of their three defeats against Arsenal and Liverpool , who they pushed really close in a 3-2 reversal at Anfield .
Atletico’s recent results have lacked consistency, but it is hard to look past last week’s 4-0 Copa del Rey thrashing of Barcelona when assessing whether they will be too classy for a very limited Club Brugge outfit.
Olympiacos vs Leverkusen
BAYER LEVERKUSEN TO WIN AT OLYMPIAKOS @ 9/5
Olympiakos finished off their league campaign with a hat-trick of victories, including a 2-0 home triumph over Leverkusen on Matchday 7, but they only beat Kairat Almaty and an out-of-sorts Ajax in the other games, and their overall form is far from convincing.
A 1-0 home loss to Panathinaikos and a goalless stalemate at Levadiakos in their last two matches made it just one win in four Greek Super League outings. Leverkusen recovered well from a slow start in this competition, enjoying away wins at Benfica and Manchester City, drawing 2-2 with Newcastle and then crushing Villarreal 3-0 during a current hot streak of five wins and a draw in six outings.
