A County Cavan punter is celebrating an early Christmas present after a flutter on some lucky Lotto numbers paid off in spectacular style. The anonymous winner struck a €10 wager in a BOYLE Sports shop in the county, picking four numbers to be drawn in Monday evening’s Daily Millions draw.
They faced hefty odds of 1,600/1 for numbers 1, 3, 4 and 6 to roll out from the seven drawn, but the lucky run of low numbers was sealed when 4 dropped out as the bonus ball. That sent the value of their betslip skyrocketing, allowing them to return to the shop to collect a handsome profit of €16,000.
