Punters reckon Munster duo have All-Ireland competition
Kilkenny are being backed to end a 10-year wait for an All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship this summer after they bagged a sixth successive Leinster title at the expense of Galway.
The Cats withstood a late Galway fightback to book themselves a semi-final date next month with TJ Reid and Martin Keoghan (twice) finding the net in an eight-point victory over the Tribesmen and are now just 4/1 (from 6/1) with BoyleSports to lift the Liam MacCarthy Cup.
Derek Lyng’s side will face any of Dublin, Kildare, Limerick or Tipperary in their semi-final clash with Limerick (11/8 from 8/11) clinging onto the championship favourites’ tag despite a penalty shoot-out defeat in the Munster final against Cork.
The Rebels are now 6/4 to score back-to-back All-Irelands, while Tipperary are the only other side at a single-figure price to triumph at Croke Park this summer.
