There have already been bets on Dublin’s footballers continuing their All-Ireland dominance by lifting the Sam Maguire trophy up to ten times in a row.

Jim Gavin’s side overcame Tyrone by 2-17 to 1-14 in Sunday’s All-Ireland final, winning the Championship for the 28th time and the 4th in succession.

They were immediately made 1/2 odds-on favourites to win it again next season, but further bets on Monday morning suggested that punters expect Dublin’s dominance to go even further than next year’s Championship.

They were backed at 7/2 to have won 7 All-Ireland titles in a row by the end of the 2021 season, while there has even been money at 66/1 for Dublin’s dominance to last until 2024 with a staggering 10-in-a-row.

Kerry are the nearest challengers to Dublin in the betting for next year’s Championship at 11/2 while Tyrone are 12/1 shots alongside Ulster neighbours Donegal to go one better and break Dublin’s run of ascendancy in 2019.
