Liverpool have made an ominous start to their Premier League title defence and are fully expected to make it four wins out of four when visiting Burnley.
The Reds have come out on top in each of their last six trips to Turf Moor, with 14 goals scored in those fixtures and just two conceded.
They were ahead at half-time and full-time for the past four visits, and 10/11 for that bet to come in again is our opening Burnley vs Liverpool prediction.

The Clarets breezed through getting straight back up from the Championship last term, but received a harsh reality check when they were brushed aside 3-0 at Tottenham on their return to top-flight action. However, Scott Parker will be much more pleased with what he has seen since that laboured display in North London.
Josh Cullen and Jaidon Anthony struck in a 2-0 home win over fellow new boys Sunderland before Derby were edged out 2-1 in the EFL Cup. The Clarets then showed great spirit to twice equalise against Manchester United at Old Trafford, only to be hit by a late sucker-punch when VAR awarded the Red Devils a stoppage-time penalty.
It has to be said that United did miss a host of chances in that game, but Anthony showed good instinct to get on the scoresheet again after goalkeeper Altay Bayindir spilled a shot into his path. Having picked up where he left off when finishing last season with five goals in nine outings, the former Arsenal academy graduate is 5/1 to net at any time here in the Burnley vs Liverpool odds.
Liverpool Form Guide
Few title winners have made as many significant personnel changes as the Reds did over the summer, and there have been some teething problems early on. After losing out to Crystal Palace on penalties in the Community Shield, Liverpool had to overcome a leaky defence to beat Bournemouth 4-2 and 10-man Newcastle 3-2.
A cagey clash with last season’s runners-up Arsenal was only settled by Dominik Szoboszlai’s spectacular late free-kick, but Arne Slot’s side were deserved victors at Anfield. As if that flying start wasn’t enough, Liverpool dealt another blow to their rivals by finally landing Alexander Isak, adding to the earlier arrivals of Florian Wirtz, Hugo Ekitike, Jeremie Frimpong and Milos Kerkez.
Isak may have to bide his time before starting, and visiting Turf Moor could be a bit of a culture shock for some of the other fresh faces, but Liverpool’s class should still shine through.
An away win by exactly two goals is available at 3/1 and is added to our Burnley vs Liverpool betting tips, while 28/1 for Mohamed Salah to strike first in a 3-1 triumph is a speculative scorecast.
