We have a near-23/1 acca to consider from our four match picks from the second round of our Bundesliga predictions. The BOYLE Sports mantra is Back Yourself when it comes to having a wager but hopefully there will be some useful pointers for punters to consider.
Bundesliga Betting Tips
Hamburg to Beat St Pauli
Hamburg to Beat St Pauli at 5/4
The last time this fixture was played in the top flight, St Pauli ran out 1-0 victors at the home of their arch rivals in 2011 but we think it will be promoted Hamburg who claim local bragging rights on Friday night.
Who Will Win Bundesliga 2025/26?
HSV have historically dominated Germany's second city derby and, with the respective home sides also having had the edge in this encounter in recent years, they can be backed at 5/4 to make it four successive wins over their neighbours at the Volksparkstadion. Both clubs started the new campaign with draws.
Borussia Dortmund to Beat Union Berlin by Two Goals
Borussia Dortmund to Beat Union Berlin by Two Goals at 16/5
Title hopefuls Borussia Dortmund will be desperate to bounce back from their opening weekend frustration at St Pauli when they had Filippo Mane sent off late on and then conceded twice to draw 3-3 - and Union Berlin could feel the backlash.
Dortmund won this fixture 6-0 last season - Serhou Guirassy netting four - and in the last six Bundesliga meetings between the two at Signal Iduna Park, BVB have claimed maximum points and outscored Union Berlin by a combined 23-4 scoreline. With that in mind, we expect Nico Kovac's men to claim a comfortable victory on Sunday.
Bayer Leverkusen to Win at Werder Bremen
Bayer Leverkusen to Win at Werder Bremen at 4/5
Erik ten Hag's Bundesliga debut in charge of Bayer Leverkusen turned sour following Jarell Quansah's early opener as Hoffenheim fought back for a 2-1 upset win. But we think the 2023/24 German champions will bounce back with victory at the Weserstadion. Werder Bremen struggled during pre-season and don't look to have resolved those issues, suffering an early DFB-Pokal exit and then losing 4-1 at Eintracht Frankfurt in their Bundesliga opener.
They have also found Leverkusen an unwelcome visitor in recent years, suffering four defeats in seven meetings - including 6-2 and 4-1 maulings - since they last won this home fixture in 2016.
RB Leipzig to Beat Heidenheim
RB Leipzig to Beat Heidenheim at 2/5
RB Leipzig could hardly have suffered a worse start to their Bundesliga campaign, crushed 6-0 at Bayern Munich, and unsurprisingly prop up the standings heading into the second round of fixtures. However, they should get their season up and running against a Heidenheim side who are also searching for their first point after losing at home to Wolfsburg.
Leipzig have held the upper hand in this fixture down the years - although they did need to come back from 2-0 down to claim a point last season - and can be backed at 2/5 to continue that domination.
