Gary Anderson (53) despite being a multiple major winner, his best finish in this event was a runner-up run in 2016 losing to Michael Van Gerwen. This year hasn’t been his best though aside from a Semi-Final result at the World Cup of Darts.

“The Green Machine” is a six-time winner of this event following successes in 2012, 2014, 2016, 2018, 2019 and 2022. However, despite being a serial winner for over a decade in 2024 he is yet to get over the line in a major event coming closest to being runner-up in the World Matchplay and the Masters.

Daryl Gurney (38) on his day is a match for any player on tour which this event knows well after he won the event in 2017 defeating Simon Whitlock 5-4. In 2024 he reached the Quarter-Final of both the Masters and the World Series of Darts.

Best Bet: Michael Van Gerwen 2-0 @ 5/4
