Time: 18:10
Rock v Joyce Odds | ||
---|---|---|
Player | Odds | Chance |
Josh Rock | 1/2 | 66.7% |
Ryan Joyce | 8/5 | 38.5% |
Antrim native Josh Rock (23) has been touted as one of the rising stars in darts since his PDC World Youth Championship win in 2024 but as of yet, he’s yet to land the splash expected of him. In the major events this year it’s been largely early exits with his best finish a 5th-round exit in the UK Open.
“Relentless” Ryan Joyce has been playing the PDC tour since 2018 and even reached the World Championship Quarter Final in 2018. His best finish in this event was when he reached the Last 16 in 2020.
Best Bet: Josh Rock 2-0 @ 13/8
Brendan Dolan vs Martin Schindler
Time: 18:30
Dolan v Schindler Odds | ||
---|---|---|
Player | Odds | Chance |
Brendan Dolan | 7/4 | 36.4% |
Martin Schindler | 4/9 | 69.2% |
"The History Maker" has been playing on the PDC since 1979 demonstrating brilliant longevity and has arguably improved as the years have gone by. He finished as runner-up at this event in 2011 losing to Phil Taylor 6-3 in the final.
While Schindler has struggled in major events, on the European Tour this season he has been a consistent performer winning the 2024 International Darts Open and the 2024 Swiss Darts Trophy.
Best Bet: Brendan Dolan @ 7/4
Johnny Clayton vs Ritchie Edhouse
Time: 19:00
Clayton v Edhouse Odds | ||
---|---|---|
Player | Odds | Chance |
Johnny Clayton | 1/2 | 66.7% |
Ritchie Edhouse | 8/5 | 38.5% |
At one point “The Ferret” was one of the most consistent players on tour from 2021-2024 but specifically in 2021 when he won four major events. Though he’s fallen back recently he remains a threat to anyone on his day.
Edhouse is the current World Number (41) and has reached two European Tour Quarter-Finals this year in the International Darts Open and Baltic Sea Darts Open. He reached the 3rd round of the UK Open.
Best Bet: Johnny Clayton 2-0 @ 6/4
Nathan Aspinall vs Ryan Searle
Time: 19:30
Aspinall v Searle Odds | ||
---|---|---|
Player | Odds | Chance |
Nathan Aspinall | 11/10 | 47.6% |
Ryan Searle | 8/11 | 57.9% |
World Number (6) Nathan Aspinall (33) is a former World Grand Prix Finalist when in 2022 he lost 3-5 to Michael Van Gerwen in the final. However, in 2024 he has been in poor form and will need to step it up to feature here.
Ryan Searle (36) is a talented thrower and though he’s struggled in the big events, on the European Tour he’s reached an ultra-consistent 6 Quarter-Finals, 1 Semi-Final and 1 Final in 2024.
Best Bet: Nathan Aspinall @ 11/10
Raymond van Barnevald vs Ricardo Pietreczko
Time: 20:00
Van Barneveld v Pietreczko Odds | ||
---|---|---|
Player | Odds | Chance |
van Barneveld | 4/9 | 69.2% |
Ricardo Pietreczko | 7/4 | 36.4% |
There are few superlatives available that could describe van Barneveld's illustrious career and the titles he has won. However, the 2024 version of him is simply not at the level we’ve come to expect, though last March he won his first Pro Tour event since 2021 when he won at the Players Championship at Hildesheim.
Pietreczko (29) is ranked 32 in the world and has been playing professionally since 2010. His best form has been on the PDC European Tour reaching the Semi-Final of the 2024 Belgian Darts Open in March and recently was a finalist in the Flanders Darts Trophy last September losing 6-8 to Chisnall.
Best Bet: Ricardo Pietreczko @ 7/4
Luke Humphries vs Stephen Bunting
Time: 20:30
Humphries v Bunting Odds | ||
---|---|---|
Player | Odds | Chance |
Luke Humphries | 1/2 | 66.7% |
Stephen Bunting | 8/5 | 38.5% |
World Number (1) “Cool Hand Luke” (29) has become a serial winner these last two years winning 6 major events including the PDC World Championship, World Matchplay and World Cup of Darts in 2024.
Stephen Bunting (39) is one of the most beloved players on tour by fans not just for his darting abilities but his personality too! He is a dangerous opponent for anyone and in 2024 he’s been consistent on the European and Pro Tour, the latter reaching five finals.
Best Bet: Luke Humphries 2-1 @ 11/5
Rob Cross vs Luke Littler
Time: 21:00
Cross v Littler Odds | ||
---|---|---|
Player | Odds | Chance |
Rob Cross | 7/4 | 36.4% |
Luke Littler | 4/9 | 69.2% |
Rob Cross is finding form again reaching 3 Quarter-Finals and 1 Semi-Final in 2024 along with a victory on the European Tour (among several strong showings). He’s never performed at this event though with his best finishes being a Last 16 in 2019 and 2021.
Luke Littler’s rise in the darting games these last 12 months has been nothing short of sensational. In 2024 he has become a serial winner across several tours with highlights being his Premier League and World Series of Darts Finals victories.
Best Bet: Luke Littler 2-1 @ 11/5
Gian van Veen vs Ross Smith
Time: 21:30
van Veen v Ross Smith Odds | ||
---|---|---|
Player | Odds | Chance |
Gian van Veen | 11/10 | 47.6% |
Ross Smith | 8/11 | 57.9% |
Gian van Veen (22) is one of the latest in line of upcoming Dutch Dart players and 2023 reached the European Championship Semi-Final. In 2024 on the European Tour, he reached 2 Quarter-Finals and 1 Final in the Hungarian Darts Trophy
Ross Smith (35) has grown in stature in recent years and in 2024 reached the World Matchplay Quarter-Finals as well as the latter stages of several European Tour events and is well capable of a strong run in this event.
Best Bet: Ross Smith @ 8/11
