Dirk Van Duijvenbode vs Brendan Dolan

Van Duijvenbode v Dolan Odds
PlayerOddsChance
Dirk Van Duijvenbode1/375%
Brendan Dolan9/430.8%

World Number (10) Dirk van Duijvenbode's best ranking event performance this season was at the Masters where he reached the Quarter-Final. However, since reaching the final of this event on his debut in 2020 he has been knocked out in the first round in the last two years.

Northern Irishman Brendan Dolan might be 50-years-old but he is still a dangerous player on his day and a prolific 180 hitter. Dolan was a former runner-up at this event back in 2011.

Best Bet: Dolan to hit the 1st 180 & lose match @ 5/2

Jose de Sousa vs Gary Anderson

Time: 18:45
De Sousa v Anderson Odds
PlayerOddsChance
Jose de Sousa13/1043.5%
Gary Anderson8/1361.9%

World Number (18) de Sousa, despite being the higher-ranked player, will come into this as second favourite. De Sousa is a former winner of the Grand Slam of Darts. His best finish at this event was a second-round appearance.

Gary Anderson is one of the most successful players to ever grace the PDC's oches, but the World Grand Prix still eludes him. His best finish being a runners-up place in 2016. Anderson is coming into this tournament in brilliant form though with great 3-dart averages.

Best Bet: Anderson to score a 180 in each of the first two legs @ 10/1

Krzystof Ratajski vs James Wade

Time: 19.15
Ratajski v Wade Odds
PlayerOddsChance
Krzysztof Ratajski10/1152.4%
James Wade10/1152.4%

Krzysztof reached the World Grand Prix Quarter-Final in 2021 and is a consistent scorer on tour. His sole victory in 2023 came on the European Tour winning The German Open at the beginning of this month.

Wade (40) has been remarkably playing on tour since 1997, he has won this event in 2007 and 2010 and has arguably the best B Game of any darts player around.

Best Bet: Total Sets Odd @ 10/11

Martin Schindler vs Raymond van Barneveld

Time: 19:45
Schindler v Van Barneveld Odds
PlayerOddsChance
Martin Schindler4/555.6%
Raymond Van BarneveldEvs50%

Schindler (27) looks to be one of the brightest prospects on tour, having a brilliant 2023 reaching the third round of the World Championship where he was narrowly beaten by Michael Smith. Schindler reached the Quarter-Final of the UK Open and Semi-Final of the World Cup of Darts.

Raymond (56) is already a true darting great. While not the player he once was in 2023 he still reached round four of the UK Open and a Quarter-Final in the World Series of Darts Finals.

Best Bet: Martin Schindler 2-0 @ 9/4

Nathan Aspinall vs Stephen Bunting

Time: 20:15
Aspinall v Bunting Odds
PlayerOddsChance
Nathan Aspinall2/571.4%
Stephen Bunting15/834.8%

World Number 5 Nathan Aspinall (32) is naturally one of the best players on tour. He won the World Matchplay back in July and reached the final of this event last year. Aspinall is a serious contender to go all the way this week at Leicester.

Bunting on his day is a match for anyone. He narrowly got knocked out of the Quarter-Final of the World Championship this year 3-5 by eventual winner Michael Smith.

Gerwyn Price vs Danny Noppert

Time: 20:45
Price v Noppert Odds
PlayerOddsChance
Gerwyn Price1/375%
Danny Noppert9/430.8%

The IceMan won this event back in 2020 and enters this tournament with a form guide of a Quarter-Final World Championship finish, a runners-up finish in the Premier League of Darts and a PDC World Cup of Darts victory all in 2023.

Noppert (32) has already been playing pro darts for 14 years. Since joining the PDC his progression to World Number 8 has been notable and in 2023 he won a Pro Tour event, reached the Quarter Final of the Masters and fifth round of the UK Open.

Best Bet: Full House Gerwyn Price Win Match, Highest Checkout, Most 180s @ 23/10

Michael Smith vs Callan Rydz

Time: 9:15

The 2023 World Champion also reached the Semi-Final of the Premier League, The Masters and the Quarter Final of the World Cup of Darts this season. Smith has never been beyond the second round of this event though.

Rydz (25) can be a serious power-scorer on his day although his doubling can be suspect. Having reached the World Championship and World Matchplay Quarter-Final before it's fair to say that the game is there to get beyond the Last 32 of this event for the first time.

Best Bet: Michael Smith Win Match, Highest Checkout, Most 180s @ 2/1
Smith v Rydz Odds
PlayerOddsChance
Michael Smith2/777.8%
Callan Rydz5/228.6%

Rob Cross vs Andrew Gliding

Time: 9:45

Cross (33) despite being a World Championship (2018) and World Matchplay winner (2019) has never been beyond the Last 16 of this event (2019) and (2021).

Gliding, (52) despite playing darts since 1990 (which is over thirty years), is arguably playing the best darts of his career. This hear he won the 2023 UK Open, shocking Michael Van Gerwen 11-10 in the final.

Best Bet: Rob Cross Win Match, Highest Checkout, Most 180s @ 5/2
