BoyleSports have voided all bets on Irish rider Dan Martin in the Vuelta a Espana, who bowed out after a crash.
The Cannondale-Garmin rider was in third place in stage eight of the race, but a pile-up 50km out from the finish line resulted in him having to abandon the race. There had been a lot of patriotic support for the rider ahead of the race and as a gesture of goodwill BoyleSports have refunded all bets placed on him to win outright.
Dan Martin was making good headway in the race but unfortunately had to pull out as a result of the crash which took out over two dozen riders including Nacer Bouhanni and Kris Boechmans.

Hopefully punters can take some solace in the fact that they will receive a full refund of their stake.""
