The BOYLE Sports Irish Greyhound Derby is down to a single night, with Saturday Night being the first night, the remaining 48 dogs looking to book their place in next week's quarter-final.
Bombay Pat was the standout performer in last week's second round posting a 16.85 to the third bend before stopping the clock in 29.19, if any doubted his Derby credentials they can't anymore. But Reigning Champion Bockos Diamond looks to be finely tuned to go even quicker than his 29.40 from last week in the later rounds.
The final of the classic is scheduled for Saturday, September 27th.
