Form
Trained by Graham Holland, the early paced hound has been remarkably consistent since debuting at Clonmel in August 2024, winning 36% of his races in top-class company. Last week he flashed from boxes in a 3.38 split, led all the way before being picked up on the line by fast finishing Lennies Desire to be beaten by a HD.
Verdict
If he repeats or betters his early pace sectional from last week, he will cause his opposition huge issues, but I think there’s faster in the race, so I’d avoid at odds of 5/1.

Form
TheSeptember 2022 dog is trained by Karol Ramsbottom and has been racing since his debut at Kilkenny in May of last year. This is a well-rounded dog who can both start and stay. Last weekend, he qualified by finishing 1.5 lengths behind Ballyhooly Bruno.
Verdict
Cheque For Cash has clocked 29.27 previously for the 550-yard distance, and if he can come any close to that, he could make a mockery of those odds, but I still don’t think Saturday Night will be the race for him.

Trap (3) Ballyhooly Bruno - Non-Runner
Odds
Ballyhooly Bruno is the rank outsider for the final with odds of 14/1, suggesting a 6.7% chance of success.

Form
Ballyhooly Bruno is trained by Cork-based trainer Tom O’Neill and has won 30% of his races since debuting at Kilkenny in May 2024. Last week, he came away well in 3.43 from Trap 2 and went on to win 1.5 lengths ahead of runner-up Cheque For Cash in 29.85
Verdict
A strong running dog who’s been seen over the 575, 600 and 750 yard distances, if there is trouble on Saturday, few will be finishing faster, but odds of 14/1 are still about right.

Ballymac Danica is priced at 9/4, which gives her a 30.8% chance of landing Saturday’s Final.

Form
Ballymac Danica is one of the quickest around, despite only having just turned 3 years of age, she already has the Track Record in Limerick for the 525 yard trip with a 27.83, a 17.17 clock for the sprint. Last week was her first trip over the 550-yard distance from a 3.38; she broke fast and made all to win 29.56, coming 3 lengths ahead of Seven Beach.
Verdict
Danica should be able to go even faster after running over the distance last weekend for the first time, and at odds of 9/4, I think she’s still an exceptional bet.

Trap (5) Seven Beach - 7/4
Odds
Seven Beach is your favourite ahead of Saturday's Final with odds of 7/4.

Form
The September 2021 dog has already quite the resumé in 2025, having won both the Gold Cup at Shelbourne Park and the Select Stakes this year. The early paced runner put in a career best run of 29.25 and 29.19 for the 550-yard distance in Tralee to win the Champions Final last month, and qualified for the final last week after running a blinder in second after overcoming trouble.
Verdict
Seven Beach didn’t get a clear run last week and still went close. If he can break quicker on Saturday, he remains the dog to beat.

Trap (6) Lennies Desire - 9/2
Odds
Lennie's Desire is 9/2 to land the spoils on Saturday, which implies the dog has an 18.2% chance of success in the race.

Form
The Paul Hennessy-trained dog is lightly raced, but full of pace and most recently clocked the Track Record for Towcester over the 547-yard distance with a breathtaking 28.47, which was the dog's 7th career win at the time. Last week, he qualified for the final, coming from behind to beat Faypoint Harvey by a HD in 29.74.
Verdict
If he can get on the bunny Saturday Night, there might not be a dog who can match him on the clock if he can emulate his Towcester running form at Shelbourne.
