With the action in Leicester about to heat up for the second round, we’ve picked out four BOYLE Sports World Grand Prix betting tips from the midweek matches.
The unusual ‘double in, double out’ format can make things tricky for punters, but if all of our selections are successful, the acca will pay just under 19/1.
BOYLE Sports World Grand Prix Betting Tips – Round 2
Stephen Bunting to Win & Have Most 180s
Stephen Bunting to Win & Have Most 180s @ Evens
The Bullet produced the best performance of the opening night to power past Niko Springer 2-0 with an average of just over 97.
World number four Bunting had check-outs of 130 and 116 and plundered five 180s from just eight legs.
His next opponent Danny Noppert hit a sensational 158 finish as he scrapped to a 2-1 victory versus Jermaine Wattimena, but that all-Dutch clash was lower on quality, with the winner averaging just under 86 and hitting one maximum less than Bunting from four more legs.

Luke Humphries to Win & Have Highest Checkout
Luke Humphries to Win & Have Highest Checkout @ 5/6
Humphries comfortably negotiated a tricky test when beating Nathan Aspinall in round one and the 2023 champion is fancied to prove too strong for Poland’s Krzysztof Ratajski.
Cool Hand Luke will be keen to step up his scoring levels, but, crucially for this tournament, he was in fine form in the doubles department, both starting off legs and finishing them.
Aspinall fired in an early 170 checkout, but Humphries hit back with two 100+ endings of his own, including a clinical 156 under pressure, whereas the best Ratajski threw in his victory over Martin Schindler was a 79.

Gerwyn Price to Beat Josh Rock
Gerwyn Price to Beat Josh Rock @ 4/5
These two are hard to split on past encounters, with four meetings this year shared evenly between them and all bar one being a very close contest.
However, the key factor here could be that Rock, who had crashed out in round one on his two previous visits to this tournament, just didn’t look comfortable in the doubles department when edging out Ryan Joyce, converting only seven of his 29 checkout attempts.
Price recovered well from a poor opening set to get the better of Ryan Searle and his overall BOYLE Sports World Grand Prix record is far superior, lifting the trophy in 2020 and reaching the final in 2021 and 2023.

Luke Littler to Beat Mike De Decker 3-1
Luke Littler to Beat Mike De Decker 3-1 @ 2/1
The quality of play produced by both players during Littler’s first-round win over Gian van Veen was nothing short of ridiculous, with the latter averaging a tournament record 106.47 but still losing 2-0.
Littler himself averaged 105.58, recording finishes of 151 and 144, and the world champion said: “It was a good performance and Gian played his part in a brilliant game. We push each other every time, play our best darts against each other. Hopefully this is my next major. First round done, on to the next one.”
Defending champion De Decker looked nervous early on when making hard work of coming from behind to see off struggling Peter Wright but did improve as that match progressed and we’re just hoping he can take a set off The Nuke.
Will Luke Littler win his first WGP in 2025?
