Tyson Fury will look to stay on course for a long-awaited showdown with Anthony Joshua by avoiding any mishaps in a clash with Mariusz Wach in Thailand on Friday.
Fury will take on the Polish veteran in front of just 1,500 fans at Pattaya’s Max Muay Thai Stadium in a fight that has the feel of an exhibition match.
The Gypsy King is as short as 1/50 to win but has repeatedly expressed a desire to build up fitness by getting rounds under his belt, so 11/4 for him to bide his time before prevailing in rounds 6-10 appeals for our main Tyson Fury vs Mariusz Wach prediction .

Fury’s incredible tale is well known, from the highs of his first world title triumph over Wladimir Klitschko , to the depths of depression and then back up the boxing ladder once more.
His epic trilogy with Deontay Wilder was followed by victories over Dillian Whyte, Derek Chisora and MMA star Francis Ngannou , but the Gypsy King lost his crown via back-to-back points defeats against Oleksandr Usyk.
Having initially hung up his gloves after the second loss to Usyk in December 2024, Fury was tempted out of retirement by talk of a mega-fight with Joshua and returned to action against Arslanbek Makhmudov in April, securing an easy decision on all three scorecards.
Although he is approaching his 38 th birthday, Fury insists: “I still feel the best is yet to come. I don’t feel like the world’s seen the best of Tyson Fury yet.”
The Manchester-born boxer has tended to cruise through warm-up fights in the past and there are fears that his punching power may have been affected by a shoulder injury. However, he has knocked out nine previous opponents inside three rounds and BOYLE Sports are offering a price boost of 13/8 for Fury to make that 10 in Thailand.

Wach has suffered 13 defeats in his 52 professional fights, with five of those losses coming inside the distance. He was knocked out in the second round by Commonwealth champion Moses Itauma a couple of years ago and the fact he was stopped in the sixth by Makhmudov in February 2022 is a big concern.
Wach went the distance with Wladimir Klitschko when an unbeaten world title challenger way back in 2012, though, and has also taken the likes of Whyte , Frazer Clarke and Fury’s cousin Hughie to points.
Fury is taking nothing for granted and said: “This is a dangerous fight. He’s the same size as me, same weight as me. He’s been in there with the most elite-level fighters.”
However, at the age of 46, and after losing 11 of his last 17 bouts, Wach will surely be just in survival mode from the outset. There are those who believe the underdog can make it to the final bell here and 11/4 for the fight to go the distance will feature in a fair share of Tyson Fury vs Mariusz Wach betting tips.
