Speaking exclusively to BOYLE Sports , former world champion Amir Khan has lifted the lid on his life beyond the ring and the crossover world of celebrity sport.

Khan has revealed he has twice been asked to do Strictly Come Dancing , backed Wayne Rooney to thrive in the jungle, and explained why he would love to see Roy Keane put the gloves on in Misfits Boxing .

The former world champion has also addressed his long-standing interest in buying Bolton Wanderers , and offered to help Liverpool 's Paddy Pimblett prepare for the striking of Ilia Topuria .

Strictly

Have You Ever Been Asked to Do Strictly Come Dancing?

Yes, I've been asked twice to be on Strictly Come Dancing . You know what? I wouldn't mind giving it a go. I think I'd do well on it with the boxing footwork and stuff. I've seen Ricky on it, and I think Floyd Mayweather did the American one as well. At the moment, I want to do other shows and stay busy doing other things. I think that's something down the line in my life that I probably will do.

The Jungle

How Would Wayne Rooney Get On in the Jungle?

Wayne seems like a strong character, and I think he'll be fine. Obviously, being a captain as well, he knows how to run a team and run a camp, so he can give orders on how he wants things to be. I think he would be a good campmate and a captain. He doesn't seem like the guy to be scared of things. I was a bit of a wimp when it came down to spiders and snakes and stuff, but he seems a bit of a toughie.

I also think people would get to see the real side of him. Footballers have so much media on them that as soon as they see a camera, they switch on and have a different type of personality. I think in the jungle we'd see a different personality from Wayne .

Misfits Boxing

Who Would You Rather See Fight, Wayne Rooney or Roy Keane?

I'd like to see Roy Keane fight because he's a tough guy who has always shown that he'll jump in, and he's never been scared. But you do get a lot of people like that who are tough, and the question is: can he back it as well? With Roy Keane , I've seen him always give it, stand up, push someone, say, let's go, scream in their face and show that aggressive side on the pitch that nobody wants to mess around with. But can he back it? Watching him on a Misfits fight night would show us what he's all about. I'd definitely love to see that.

Who Should Keane Fight?

It depends on the weight. I've always liked my friend Dennis Wise to put the gloves on because he can have them as well. Dennis can throw a few punches. He was always one of those toughies who would get stuck in, and I think he could back it up as well, but Roy Keane might be a little bit too big for him in weight and height.

Someone like Rio Ferdinand could work because Rio likes his boxing. They played together at Manchester United at the same time. I'm sure there might have been some misunderstandings in the changing room, so maybe they could clear it one day, if there ever was.

Bolton Wanderers

Has Ryan Reynolds' Success With Wrexham Made You Think About Bolton?

I think he's done amazing for Wrexham , and I'd love to do the same for Bolton . But what comes with Bolton is a lot of debt when it comes to buying the football club. I was interested, and I did look at options and ways that we could secure the team and bring it back, but there's a lot of debt on the table. We'd also have to make sure we had the right manager, the right coaches and the whole structure there.

Bolton has one of the best training grounds. You've got all the facilities and, in my opinion, one of the best stadiums. The parking and everything is perfect for fans. It's a proper fan zone, so I think it's an ideal club to buy. I wouldn't go into it on my own. I'd rather go in with a consortium, get a team of people and hopefully put a couple of million in each and buy it then.

Paddy Pimblett

Would You Help Paddy Pimblett Prepare For Topuria's Striking?

The best way of doing that is getting sparring partners who have a similar style, but someone heavier, stronger and more aggressive coming at him. Then when it comes down to the fight, he's going to be like, wait a minute, this is easier than I thought. My sparring was harder than this. Sometimes it's about putting yourself under that pressure and pushing yourself harder than what you think the fight is going to be.

I'd love to give him some tips. I've always been an offensive fighter myself, and there are always areas where offensive fighters know they can get hit. You have to be smart, knowing that if you go in this way, you can get hit with this shot. Those are little tips that may help Paddy . When it comes to our home fighters, and he's not too far from me; he's from Liverpool , I'm always there to help and support.
