Last season, the spoils were shared in both matches, finishing 2-2 in Munich in April, while Bayern forward Jamal Musiala struck an 85th-minute equaliser in a 1-1 draw in Dortmund.

Since beating Stuttgart 2-1 in the German Super Cup in August, Bayern have reeled off nine successive wins in league, cup, and Europe, and all but two of them have been recorded with at least a two-goal margin.
Vincent Kompany’s champions have scored the most goals in the Bundesliga (25), conceded the fewest (3), and in Harry Kane, have arguably the most in-form player in Europe.
The England captain has struck 21 goals in 13 games for club and country this season, and he is 5/2 to open the scoring against Dortmund, or 9/1 to repeat his Klassiker hat-trick of two years ago.

It could easily have been eight wins out of nine, but they twice let in two late goals in drawing at St Pauli (3-3) and Juventus (4-4), and that is something Niko Kovac will be eager to avoid happening again.
Scoring has not been a problem, though. Since losing 4-0 to Barcelona in the Champions League quarter-finals in April, they have only failed to find the net once in 21 games, which was a goalless draw against Fluminense at the Club World Cup.
