Manchester United – 16/5
Draw – 3/1
Arsenal have started the season unbeaten and despite only a 2-2 draw against Fulham last weekend they’ll fancy their chances at 7/10. Manchester United have flattered to deceive so far this season but are 16/5 to win while the draw could be value at 3/1.
However, a new season beckons and in the off-season Arsenal have gone big with their recruitment spending roughly £208.6 million (excluding undisclosed figures) on Kai Havertz, Jurrien Timber and Declan Rice. Their squad is considerably stronger than last season with the only real departure of Grant Xhaka, but it remains to be seen whether they’ve strengthened enough to challenge properly on all fronts/
In Pre-Season they had two wins, two draws and one defeat (to Manchester United). But have started the season well. They won the season curtain raiser against Manchester City, following a 1-1 draw they beat City 4-1 on penalties.
They’ve seven points from their opening three Premier League matches following a 2-1 win over Nottingham Forrest, a 0-1 win over Crystal Palace and a 2-2 draw against Fulham.
During the off-season so far Manchester United have brought in quality following the additions of Mason Mount, Andre Onana Rasmus Højlund and Altay Bayındır (at the time of writing on Deadline Day). If that’s what they take into the new season their squad will be looking very light and there will be considerable pressure on Ten Hag to still produce results.
During their Pre-Season the club were solid with with four wins (including against Arsenal) and three defeats albeit against Wrexham it was a U23 side, a 0-2 loss against Real Madrid and a 2-3 against Dortmund, a reserve side drew their final game 1-1 against Bilbao.
However, it’s been a worrying start to the season for the club, starting the season with an easy 1-0 win over Wolves, which was followed by a poor 0-2 defeat against Tottenham and a very fortunate 3-2 win over Nottingham Forrest. A similar level of performance in this game and they will be in trouble.

Arsenal haven’t had overwhelmingly positive performances from their first three league games, but they’re still unbeaten with seven points from three games. It remains to be seen whether this is a fragility in the side or if they now have that winning mentality.
Manchester United’s performances have also left a lot to be desired and they were fortunate to beat Nottingham Forrest 3-2 last weekend.
I can genuinely see this being a draw.

Preview–Arsenal vs Manchester United
Arsenal’s Form
Mikel Arteta deserves plaudits for the job he has done since becoming Arsenal's job back in 2019 bringing the side from a fifth finish in 21/22 to a second-place finish and a title challenge for much of the 22/23 season. However, Arsenal eventually fell away in the title race which was not helped by an injury to Saliba. However, the club could be criticised for abandoning their campaigns in the other competitions to try and maintain their Premier League push. However, a new season beckons and in the off-season Arsenal have gone big with their recruitment spending roughly £208.6 million (excluding undisclosed figures) on Kai Havertz, Jurrien Timber and Declan Rice. Manchester United’s Form
Manchester United returned to the Champions League place last season with Ten Hag guiding them to a third-place finish in his first season at the club which meant the club has now been in the top four in three of the past four years.During the off-season so far Manchester United have brought in quality following the additions of Mason Mount, Andre Onana Rasmus Højlund and Altay Bayındır (at the time of writing on Deadline Day).
