United boss odds-on for the boot
Ruben Amorim is now in the unwanted position of odds-on favourite in the Premier League sack race after BOYLE Sports slashed him into 4/6 to be the next manager axed.
The Manchester United boss has come under increasing pressure at Old Trafford following a slow start to the season, with the side languishing 14th in the Premier League table following last weekend’s 3-1 defeat to Brentford.
The subsequent surge in speculation that the Old Trafford hierarchy will trigger a change in the dugout means the Portuguese boss is clear favourite to be the next top flight manager dismissed, with compatriot Vitor Pereira a distant 7/1 second favourite despite his Wolves side being rooted to the bottom of the table with a solitary point.
Safe Hand Southgate Favourite
It’s a hot 4/7 shot that Amorim isn’t in the dugout for Manchester United’s first game of 2026 away at Leeds, but the odds on an imminent departure are also shortening, with 6/1 available on him not being in charge for United’s trip to rivals Liverpool after the upcoming international break.
Punters are already turning to who will succeed Amorim in the Old Trafford hotseat, with Gareth Southgate rated 11/4 favourite ahead of Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner (5/1).

They’re already looking elsewhere and with Gareth Southgate and Oliver Glasner attracting early support, it looks like a hotly debated contest if Sir Jim does wield the axe.”
