All-Ireland Favourites Now Cork
Cork have now taken over as favourites at 6/4 with BoyleSports (from 5/2) to win the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship following their first National League Final victory in 27 years.
A sell-out crowd at Páirc Uí Chaoimh watched Pat Ryan’s men coast to a long-awaited league triumph with Alan Connolly, Darragh Fitzgibbon and Ethan Twomey all finding the net in a 10-point victory over Tipperary, who were 13 points behind at the break following a scintillating first half from the Rebels.
Limerick Find Themselves 2nd in Liam MacCarthy Cup Betting
Now last year’s beaten finalists are being heavily backed to go one better this season and get their hands on the Liam MacCarthy Cup for the first time since 2005, with Limerick pushed out to second favourites at 2/1.
Cork begin their Munster campaign on the road at All-Ireland champions Clare later this month and are now 11/10 favourites to add to their record haul of provincial titles. Rebel duo Darragh Fitzgibbon and Patrick Horgan are now also joint favourites to be crowned 2025 hurler of the year, ahead of Limerick’s Cian Lynch (10/1).
Lawrence Lyons, spokesperson for BoyleSports, said:
“The league victory has clearly reignited belief in the Rebels and we’d be foolish to ignore their hot form, as well as the weight of support on Leeside.”
