Aidan O’Brien has been installed as a 6/1 shot to claim a big race double on Saturday with well backed chances in both the St Leger and Irish Champion Stakes.
Kew Gardens is the 9/4 second favourite for the Ballydoyle maestro in the St Leger at Doncaster at 3.35 and jockey Ryan Moore is set to travel straight from the course ahead of partnering 10/3 shot Saxon Warrior in the Irish Champion Stakes at Leopardstown.
Rhododendron (20/1), Athena (33/1) and Deauvile (50/1) also go for O’Brien in the Leopardstown race, with John Gosden’s Roaring Lion leading the market at an odds-on 4/5 with us.
Gosden also saddles the market leader in the St Leger earlier in the day, with Lah Ti Dar now a 7/4 chance having closed in from 5/2 earlier this week when it became clear she would be sent to Saturday’s Classic.
