Hosts Morocco are one step away from ending 50 years of Africa Cup of Nations frustration, but face a formidable obstacle in the form of Senegal .
Morocco have only been crowned continental champions once, back in 1976, but have long been favourites to win on home soil in the 2025 tournament and are now 4/7 with BOYLE Sports to get their hands on the trophy after Sunday's final in Rabat .
Senegal are arguably the toughest opponent they could come up against, though, and it is fitting that the top two African nations in the FIFA world rankings will face off in what promises to be another tense and closely fought final. No AFCON showpiece has been settled by more than a two-goal margin since Nigeria beat Algeria 3-0 in 1980, and of the 22 finals since then, nine have gone to penalty shoot-outs.
With that in mind, and the fact these two teams have only conceded three goals in 12 games combined so far, we think this weekend's final could go all the way again and predict a goalless draw @ 5/1 with Morocco to win on penalties @ 7/1.

Form Guides
Senegal Form Guide
Senegal won their first AFCON title in 2021, having been runners-up two years previously, and they are 11/8 to lift a second crown on Sunday. The Lions of Teranga are unbeaten , like Morocco , with five wins from six matches en route to the final, but their nerve has been tested in the knock-out stages.
They trailed after six minutes against Sudan before rallying for a 3-1 win, and then edged out Mali and Egypt only by a single goal. Sadio Mane scored a 78th-minute winner in the semi-final, and he is 10/3 to find a way through Morocco’s miserly defence.
And if you think Senegal will gatecrash Morocco's party in Rabat , then a 1-0, 2-0 or 2-1 win @7/2 is worth considering.
Morocco Form Guide
The Atlas Lions are close to breaking into the top 10 of the FIFA rankings on the back of a brilliant 26-match unbeaten run. Aided by a virtually impregnable defence that has only conceded one goal, which was a penalty, hosts Morocco have overcome all challenges in reaching their first AFCON final since 2004, including a nail-biting penalty shoot-out against Nigeria in their semi-final.
That came after a 0-0 draw, and don’t expect a flurry of goals in the final either, especially early on. Of the 21 goals scored by Morocco and Senegal so far, only one has come in the opening 25 minutes, with the majority being in the second half.
Therefore, if you don’t fancy more penalties, Morocco to win after drawing at half-time could be a good option at 9/2. Brahim Diaz, the leading scorer in qualifying and the finals, was unable to net for the sixth successive match against Nigeria , but he is 11/4 to add to his tally in the final.
Third-Place Play-Off
Third-Place Play-Off
Record seven-time AFCON champions Egypt and 2023 runners-up Nigeria will look to finish on a high after heartbreaking semi-final exits when they meet in Casablanca on Saturday.
We think Nigeria , who are the top scorers in the tournament, will claim victory with under 3.5 goals in total @17/10.
