Hosts Morocco are one step away from ending 50 years of Africa Cup of Nations frustration, but face a formidable obstacle in the form of Senegal .

Morocco have only been crowned continental champions once, back in 1976, but have long been favourites to win on home soil in the 2025 tournament and are now 4/7 with BOYLE Sports to get their hands on the trophy after Sunday's final in Rabat .

Senegal are arguably the toughest opponent they could come up against, though, and it is fitting that the top two African nations in the FIFA world rankings will face off in what promises to be another tense and closely fought final. The Atlas Lions are close to breaking into the top 10 of the FIFA rankings on the back of a brilliant 26-match unbeaten run. Aided by a virtually impregnable defence that has only conceded one goal, which was a penalty, hosts Morocco have overcome all challenges in reaching their first AFCON final since 2004, including a nail-biting penalty shoot-out against Nigeria in their semi-final.
