Our 2026 Super League Odds and 2026 Super League Predictions assess the outright winner market, League Leaders’ Shield betting and the teams tipped to improve this season.
Hull KR and Wigan Warriors will again be the teams to beat this season but the 2026 Super League odds also suggest a resurgence from Leeds Rhinos and St Helens is on the cards.
Neither team has made the Grand Final since Saints secured a fourth-straight title triumph by beating the Rhinos at Old Trafford in 2022.
However, there are reasons to expect an improved showing from both clubs this term and we’re backing them at 13/2 and 6/1 respectively to go all the way in our Super League outright winner predictions.

St Helens
St Helens – Rowley Tipped To Rejuvenate Saints
The experiment to promote former star player Paul Wellens to the role of head coach at St Helens simply failed to pay off and last season brought another frustrating fifth-place finish.
However, Saints addressed the situation with the appointment of highly-regarded former Salford boss Paul Rowley on a three-year deal.
Prior to their financial meltdown, Rowley consistently exceeded expectations with the Red Devils, leading them into the play-offs twice in his four seasons at the helm.
He has inherited a squad full of potential, including impressive young trio George Whitby, George Delaney and Harry Robertson, all of whom impressed in Saints’ run to the play-off semi-finals last term.
Bringing in on-field general Jackson Hastings could prove the real gamechanger, though, with the Australian scrum-half being the perfect type to lead by example and inspire improvement from those around him.
Powerful centre Nene MacDonald is another strong signing and everything now feels in place for Saints to start challenging for top honours again.
Leeds Rhinos
Leeds Rhinos – Arthur Has Rhinos Back On Track
Leeds Rhinos are looking to build on an encouraging return to form under Australian coach Brad Arthur, reaching the play-offs in 2025 after two seasons of missing out on the last six.
There is still a long way to go before the Rhinos can get back to the glory days which brought eight Grand Final triumphs, second only to Saints’ tally of nine.
Reigning Man of Steel Jake Connor will continue his exciting half-back partnership with Brodie Croft, while skipper Ash Handley and vice-captain Kallum Watkins are a couple of rock-solid characters with great experience.
“I just want us to be back where we need to be, and that is winning things,” declared Handley, who made his Leeds debut back in 2014.
“That’s what I’ve been chasing my whole career, so to be captain of a club if we can go on and do it will be something special.”
Handley hailed the influence Arthur has had on the squad, adding: “Since he arrived, the standards at the club have shot up. He’s been a breath of fresh air.”
Leeds Rhinos can also be backed at 11/2 for the League Leaders’ Shield during the regular season, with Wigan Warriors and Hull KR 15/8 joint-favourites to top the table after dominating for the past couple of years.
