Michael van Gerwen To Beat Stephen Bunting @ 8/13

Van Gerwen put a patchy run of results in this competition behind him by reaching last week’s final in Germany, seeing off Humphries and Josh Rock 6-3 before giving Littler a decent test in the decider.

Mighty Mike averaged a very healthy 103.87 in that 6-4 final defeat and was only undone by Littler producing a brace of 170 checkouts.

The Dutchman has come out on top in all three meetings with Bunting so far this year, prevailing 6-4 in both Bahrain and Saudi Arabia before a 6-2 triumph in the opening round of Premier League fixtures.

Gerwyn Price vs Luke Humphries Over 9.5 Legs @ 10/11

Price romped to a 6-1 victory when these players met in the Dublin semis a fortnight ago but Humphries didn’t perform that badly, averaging 101.35, and their encounters are usually much closer.

Humphries just shaded a 6-5 success in Newcastle on Night 1, while Price had previously prevailed by the same scoreline in Saudi Arabia.

Both players put in moderate performances, with each averaging under 89.5, so it is too soon to say that the Northern Irishman has found his feet in this competition after he then averaged just over 90 in a semi-final loss to Van Gerwen.

Clayton has clearly been managing some injury issues of late but will be keen to bounce back after surrendering top spot in the Premier League table to Littler and is a percentage pick on this occasion.
