Round four of the PDC World Darts Championship continues on Tuesday and we’ve picked out three predictions that will give us a 9/2 pay-out if successful.

It is the best of seven sets at this stage, but if your player goes 3-0 up, BOYLE Sports will pay out and you don’t have to fret about a possible fightback.

Woodhouse vs Ratajski

Luke Woodhouse to Beat Krzysztof Ratajski

Woody arrived at Ally Pally in fine spirits after reaching finals at the Swiss Darts Trophy and a recent Players Championship event, and he has maintained that momentum.

The 25th seed has improved his play throughout wins over Boris Krcmar , Max Hopp and Andrew Gilding , notably averaging over 103 in the last three sets of that 4-1 third-round triumph.

Golding has never made it past this point at Ally Pally but has been unfortunate to face a series of tough draws early on in past renewals, so this is a big chance for the 2023 UK Open winner to break new ground.

Clayton vs Harrysson

The Ferret had to dig deep to edge out an on-song Niels Zonneveld 4-3 , but should be all the better for coming through such a tough test after enjoying a walkover in round two.

Clayton posted a 98.44 average in that high-class contest and threw 11 maximums before confidently commenting: “I’d like to go and lift that trophy, that’s my aim.”

Harrysson has had a dream Ally Pally debut so far, but the Swede ’s lack of big-match experience may count against him here.

MVG vs Gary Anderson

Michael van Gerwen to Beat Gary Anderson

Two of the modern-day greats can boast five PDC World Darts Championship triumphs between them, with Van Gerwen lifting the trophy in 2014 , 2017 and 2019 and Anderson bagging back-to-back titles in 2015 and 2016 .

Both have looked in fine spirits at Ally Pally this term and the Flying Scotsman only missed double 12 for a nine-dart finish in the closing leg of his thrilling 4-3 triumph over Jermaine Wattimena.

However, Mighty Mike has only failed to reach the quarter-finals twice in the last 13 years – losing 4-3 to a peak Raymond van Barneveld in 2016 and withdrawing in 2022 due to a positive Covid test.

The Dutchman holds a 50-22 head-to-head advantage over Anderson following last month’s 5-2 group-stage victory at the Grand Slam of Darts and looked strong in securing a 4-1 win over Arno Merk , who needed checkouts of 145 and 120 to claim his sole set.

After firing in nine maximums, Van Gerwen ominously declared: “I think I had more in my power if I wanted to, but I didn’t need it.”
