The excitement is mounting at Alexandra Palace and we’ve got PDC World Darts Championship predictions for all four of Thursday’s quarter-finals for punters to consider.

It is the best of nine sets at this stage, but if your selection goes three in front, BOYLE Sports will pay out and you don’t have to fret about a possible fightback.

World Darts Championship Quarter-Final Predictions

Searle vs Clayton

Ryan Searle to Beat Jonny Clayton

Heavy Metal has been having the time of his life during this tournament and is yet to drop a set during four dominant displays.

The world number 20 averaged over 100 for the second straight match as he whitewashed James Hurrell 4-0 on Monday.

Clayton only just scraped past Niels Zonneveld 4-3 and was again far from convincing in a 4-2 defeat of Andreas Harrysson , so Searle is a form pick here.

Ryan Searle to beat Jonny Clayton @ 7/10

Anderson vs Hood

Gary Anderson to Beat Justin Hood & Score Most 180s

Hood was on fire when crushing Josh Rock 4-0 , incredibly hitting the target with 11 straight doubles, but the PDC tour rookie admitted he is now in uncharted territory, stating: “I’m not used to this.”

Anderson was less spectacular in seeing off a below-par Michael van Gerwen 4-1 but the two-time former champion looks a more reliable proposition at this point.

The Flying Scotsman hit 11 maximums in that match and 14 when beating Jermaine Wattimena in round three, power scoring which will put pressure on his inexperienced opponent.

Gary Anderson to beat Justin Hood & score most 180s @ 5/6

Littler vs Ratajski

Luke Littler to Beat Krzysztof Ratajski 5-1

The Nuke admitted he lost his head after being booed and jeered as he beat Rob Cross 4-2 on Monday, following three straight whitewashes in the earlier rounds.

However, Littler still averaged 106.5 and threw 17 180s before insisting he will be better prepared for any adverse crowd reaction.

The defending champion hammered Brendan Dolan 5-1 in the 2024 quarter-finals and brushed aside Nathan Aspinall 5-2 at this point 12 months ago.

Ratajski only went down 10-8 against Littler in the UK Open last March and has been solid so far at Ally Pally , but he will need to improve to claim more than one set.

Luke Littler to beat Krzysztof Ratajski 5-1 @ 19/10

Humphries vs van Veen

Luke Humphries vs Gian van Veen Over 7.5 Sets

This is the pick of the quarter-finals on paper and everything suggests it should be a titanic tussle that goes the distance.

Humphries , the 2024 champion, averaged over 103 in Tuesday’s 4-1 win over Dutchman Kevin Doets and then ominously declared: “I feel like I’ve played well but I feel like there’s another level in me.”

However, Van Veen had a 108-plus average earlier in the tournament and has been in the high 90s for his other victories.

Crucially, the European Championship and two-time world youth title winner has a good record against Humphries , taking their last three meetings by scores of 6-5 , 11-10 and 10-8 .

Luke Humphries vs Gian van Veen over 7.5 sets @ 17/20
