Butterfield

Butterfield- 5/1

The joint favourite for the 2026 Horse & Jockey Hotel Coursing Oaks is Butterfield , who is owned by the KMN Syndicate.

Butterfield booked her place for Clonmel in Week 5 of the 25/26 Coursing season when she won the Oaks Trial Stake at Castleislan d, defeating the fellow fancied Blades Of Dreams after being level early, she found an extra gear to win decisively.

Following her success in Castleisland, she was next seen at the famous Abbeyfeale, Corn Na Feile meeting last month where she picked up a repeat victory on the field. This time again she met another hotly fancied runner in Daoimean Dubh leading from the outset, repelling a challenge, and winning by one and three-quarters lengths.

Following both of those impressive successes this Gerry Holian trained Daughter of BoyleSports Magic and Cloncunny Wonder is at the top of the betting market with good reason.

She displayed plenty of early pace before staying strongly on the hill throughout including in her success over Savage Blade i n the final

Another well bred sort the sire of Mungos Bloom is serial scorer on the field Howdododo who won multiple stakes including winning the 2017 Champion Stakes at the National Meeting clocking the fastest at the entire meeting with a World Class 12.19 clock up the hill.
