Who Will Win The 2025 Men's US Open Tennis?
Novak Djokovic
Market Mover Djokovic
Novak Djokovic has been trimmed from 12/1 to 10/1 to claim a record-extending 25th grand slam title after hitting top form at the US Open.
Having had to fight through his second and third-round matches, the Serbian superstar found another gear to crush Jan-Lennard Struff 6-3, 6-3, 6-2 to power into the quarter-finals.
The four-time Flushing Meadows champion said, "The last grand slam I won was here two years ago. To close the circle here again would be great. Let's see.
“What gives me a lot of encouragement right now and positivity is the way I played tonight. Best performance of the tournament so far. Hopefully, I can keep that going."
Taylor Fritz,
Last American Standing
Djokovic faces a tough test in the last eight against Taylor Fritz, who is a 20/1 chance in the men's singles betting market.
Fritz is once again the last American man standing after easing through with an impressive 6-4, 6-3, 6-3 win against 21st seed Tomas Machac. If he is to go further, though, the 27-year-old will have to get the better of Djokovic for the first time in 11 attempts.
Sinner vs Alcaraz
Sinner vs Alcaraz
Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz continue to dominate the 2025 US Open tennis odds at 5/6 and 11/8, respectively.
So far this year, Italian ace Sinner has claimed outright victories at the Australian Open and Wimbledon, while he was runner-up to Spaniard Alcaraz at the French Open.
So Far, So Good For Sabalenka And Swiatek
The big guns have also been firing in the women’s singles, with Aryna Sabalenka trimmed from an opening 29/10 to 7/4 to retain her title.
World number one Sabalenka had her most comfortable outing of the tournament so far when beating Spain's Cristina Bucsa 6-1, 6-4 in the fourth round.
"I'm super happy with the win," said the defending champion. "I feel with every game I play, I play better and better. She's a tricky opponent, made me think in the second set, and I'm happy I held my serve and won in straight sets."
Iga Swiatek
Swiatek Fightback
Wimbledon winner Iga Swiatek staged an impressive first-set fightback in a 7-6, 6-4 victory over Russian Anna Kalinskaya and is next best at 2/1.
The second seed, who dropped a set in the previous round, trailed 5-1 and saved four set points in the opener before finding a way through.
Coco Gauff
Contender Coco
Coco Gauff can be backed at 9/1 after shrugging off further problems with double faults to beat Magdalena Frech 6-3, 6-1.
The third seed had been in tears on Arthur Ashe Stadium on Thursday night as she again struggled with her serve before battling to victory over Donna Vekic.
"It's been an emotional week," she said. "I needed those tough moments to be able to move forward...but overall I'm very happy with how I played and to be through."
