World number one Scottie Scheffler is an obvious favourite here at 11/4 after an incredible 2025 campaign which yielded six wins, including two Major triumphs, but his record in this event and the Presidents Cup has room for improvement.
That makes it worth seeking some better value elsewhere and PATRICK CANTLAY catches the eye at 7/1.
The 33-year-old is coming off a mixed season but did finish tied for second at the Tour Championship and US captain Keegan Bradley will be aware of his strong Ryder Cup credentials.
Cantlay was joint-second in his side’s scoring chart at Whistling Straits four years ago, has claimed five and a half points from eight matches overall and was one of the few American players to emerge with credit from their rout in Rome.
He and good friend Xander Schauffele twice performed well in defeat before Cantlay and Wyndham Clark edged out Rory McIlroy and Matt Fitzpatrick on Saturday evening. Justin Rose was then dispatched in the Sunday singles.
The Californian also has solid course form, having finished tied for third in the 2019 US PGA Championship at this venue.

Rory McIlroy may be Europe’s talisman but JON RAHM is just as fierce a competitor in this contest and gets the nod from the 4/1 joint-favourites for this market.
Continuing the great tradition of Spanish golfers in this event, Rahm led the way from compatriot Sergio Garcia when the event was last held on American soil.
He was then unbeaten in four matches in Rome, setting the tone with a big win over Scheffler and Sam Burns in the very first foursomes clash alongside Tyrrell Hatton.
Rahm halved two more encounters with the formidable Scheffler, including when sent out to open things up in the singles, so Luke Donald knows he can count on ‘Rahmbo’.

RUSSELL HENLEY looks a worthy market leader here at 15/8 after recently showing his well-being with joint-second place at the Tour Championship and, although making his Ryder Cup debut, he is no stranger to success in team events.
It may be a while since the 36-year-old won all three of his matches at the 2011 Walker Cup as an amateur but three points in the 2024 Presidents Cup featured a convincing singles victory and playing alongside Scheffler in a trio of doubles matches, so let’s hope that partnership stays intact!
