It was originally run as a handicap race before being changed to a conditions race from the 2016 running and takes place each year on the second day of the Cheltenham Festival in March.
The horse's most recent success came on the 28th of December 2022 over a 3-mile trip, returning after 53 days away from the track to top a seven-horse-field by five lengths.
