The FAI Cup has often been kind to the club. It has been a source of comfort for the club this season and following three First Division draws they find themselves in a Semi-Final with a puncher's chance of success and European Football next year.
Second Round – Cork City 3-0 Waterford
Quarter-Final – Cork City 2-1 Wexford
St Patrick’s Athletic have had an excellent season since Jon Daly came in as manager following the departure of Tim Clancy. So much so that they still have trophy aspirations in the Premier Division and the FAI Cup (albeit the former trophy is unlikely it remains very much possible).
They overcame a scare against Finn Harps last round and are now two wins away from winning the FAI Cup for the first time since their success in 2021.
